What to See in Tenerife: Places Worth Your Time
Tenerife is easy to reduce to Teide and a few beaches, but that misses half the island. In one trip you can cross a volcanic caldera, walk through Anaga's laurel forest, look into the Masca gorge, explore old Canarian towns and reach a black-sand coast. The list below starts with the places we would protect first when time is limited.
For a first visit, use the top ten as a shortlist, not a two-day checklist. Combine nearby stops: Teide with Roques de García, La Laguna with Anaga, and Garachico with Icod or Punta de Teno. You will spend less time driving and more time actually seeing Tenerife.
