Necessary cookies

We use necessary cookies and local storage to keep the site secure, maintain sessions, remember your language, remember your cookie choice, and protect public forms from spam or abuse.

These cookies are required for the service to work and do not require analytics consent. Examples include session cookies, CSRF/security tokens, language or theme preferences, and the kt_cookie_consent record.

Analytics cookies

Analytics tools, including Google Analytics if enabled in production, are loaded only after you accept analytics cookies. Until then, the analytics script is not inserted into the page.

Analytics may measure page views, outbound link clicks, search and guide usage, and conversion goals such as WhatsApp clicks or quote requests. We do not add advertising pixels, remarketing tags, or session-replay tools without a separate privacy review and consent category.

If you reject analytics, KnowTenerife does not load the analytics script, does not send internal goal events to analytics providers, and asks the browser to remove known first-party analytics cookies.

Security and anti-abuse services

We may use Cloudflare and CAPTCHA or Turnstile-style checks to protect login, forms, and public write actions from spam and automated abuse.

When used only for security, these checks are treated as necessary processing. If we later add marketing or advertising tools, they must stay disabled until a separate consent option is available.

Changing your choice

You can change or withdraw your analytics choice at any time from the Cookies link in the site footer.

Consent is stored for up to 180 days unless you change it sooner. When the consent model changes, KnowTenerife may ask you to choose again.
