We finally made it! Getting to Masca is an adventure in itself. The road leading here is incredibly winding, clinging to the mountainsides at such heights that passing oncoming cars felt genuinely sketchy at times. It’s definitely not for the faint of heart, but the adrenaline is part of the experience.
Once you arrive, you’re greeted by a stunning village tucked high away in the mountains. The atmosphere is surreal, surrounded by lush nature, dramatic precipices, and views that take your breath away. However, a word of warning: parking is extremely limited. We struggled to find a spot now, so I can’t even imagine the chaos during the peak of the summer holidays. If you're planning a trip, definitely try to get here as early as possible.
The scenery is nearly perfect, though I have to admit, the overhead electricity cables running to the few houses do break the "lost in time" illusion a bit. It’s a small detail, but it slightly disrupts the raw, cinematic feel of the landscape.
