4.5 (5)El Sauzal10-20 €

Restaurante Amistad in El Sauzal is a budget-friendly guachinche-style stop where the strongest pattern is size and value. Reviews talk about large portions, a big menu, very reasonable prices and food that leaves groups full rather than wondering what to order next.
The useful extra is vegetarian choice, which is not always a given in traditional north-island places. Staff are described as warm, the views are a plus, and takeaway is available. The main warning is queue management: one review says the wait for a table suffered from poor organisation, so arrive with patience on busy days.

Large menu - and really great options for vegetarians! Watch out for portion sizes, we ordered too much for 4x people and left absolutely stuffed. Prices were really decent too. Service was a little slow and missed one main but as the portion sizes were huge, we didn't miss it in the end.

Really good food and service. Only complaint is the wait for a table. The lack organization and communication with patrons tamper your dining experience.
