About

La Vespa Cocina Canaria is a guachinche-style restaurant near La Matanza de Acentejo, useful when you want a local Canarian meal without a polished resort setting. Reviews mention Secreto cooked well, true Canarian dishes, fresh plates and a house dessert that guests remember; one reviewer also recommends ordering half portions to try more starters.

It keeps the casual strengths of a guachinche: local flavour, friendly staff and a 10-20 € range. The one practical warning is the menu: a guest found it awkward that prices were not visible and Spanish-only service made explanation harder. Ask about prices and portions before ordering if that matters to you.

Exceptional service with amazingly friendly staff that makes you feel right at home. The food is absolutely delicious, especially the Secreto which is cooked to perfection. And the house special dessert is simply to die for. A must-visit for a memorable dining experience!

very friendly staff. Food was amazing. If you would like to try the true canarian cuisine it is a good place to do so.

Hidden gem. Great food, outstanding menu selection as well as customer service. You can taste the freshness in all the dishes we tried. (Order half portions and try as many entries as you can)

We liked the food and the place. What we didnt like was the menu without prices which I found really akward. Server without any english is fine (at least you get authentic experience) but we would appreciate at least small effort to understand or explain anything. He was just weird..
