Restaurant Fungi's

We spent the day visiting Garachico and came across this amazing restaurant right in front of the sea. It turned out to be a fantastic find!

Everything went smoothly from start to finish, and the service was excellent. We were first served bread with olive oil and basil, which was absolutely delicious, I couldn’t stop eating it.

For our meal, we had king prawns and a steak (entraña) served with a purée of potatoes, sweet potatoes, and truffle, and everything was full of flavor and perfectly prepared.

The only small downside was the tiramisu, which didn’t quite live up to the rest of the meal. Still, we truly enjoyed the food, the attentive service, and the beautiful atmosphere.

WOW - what a place! Run by the most passionate and enthusiastic owner and serving incredible food. Truffle mash to die for, huge gambas and tender flavoursome meats. Great for Gluten-free. So glad we found this place. Highly recommended.

We stopped here by chance, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The staff was amazing ( we were lucky to be served by the owner as he just reopened after being closed for family reasons. A wonderful man, very good and entertaining at explaining how the food is prepared. The food was delicious, I loved the dessert in particular ( Uruguay desert). The gentleman gave us a homemade liquor as a complimentary before leaving. Which was so delicious, I've never tasted something similar. 😋

Worth our stop. I would definitely return if I have a chance. 😍😊

A restaurant with very nice menu and a special atmosphere created by a charismatic guy from Uruguay. Ask him about his recommendations and you’ll get a delicious and pleasant experience over there. Cheers!

The most wonderful combination of flavours, 5 types of mushrooms and home made olive oil. Awesome…and all with a sea view.
