Canarian cheese and wine bar
4.9 (5)Garachico10-25 €

Queseria Esencia Canaria is for understanding local cheese without turning it into a formal tasting room. The point is the counter: a wide selection of Canarian cheeses, local wines and an owner who helps guests choose by sight, taste and appetite rather than pushing a standard tourist menu.
It works best as a calm stop before continuing a route, especially if you want cheese and wine instead of a full restaurant meal. The tradeoff is informality: there may be no written menu, and service is mainly in Spanish, so patience helps. If that does not bother you, it is one of the more useful small places for tasting island cheese properly.

The large Canarian cheese selection is the real reason to stop.
Local wines turn it into a proper tasting break.
Owner-guided choices feel more personal than a standard menu.
No written menu and mainly Spanish service can require patience.

Cute restaurant to try some unique cheeses of the Canary Islands. Highly recommended to try out. Very nice lady (probably the owner) which helps you choose some cheeses. You should be aware that they only speak Spanish and there is no menu (you have to choose by looking). It was not an issue to pick though.

Just best niche small place to grab a beer and enjoy some local cheese before you will go onto another journey. RECOMMEND It's further from the townhall and the action, so you can relax from people and just enjoy the moment
