About

Patio Canario La Laguna is a guachinche-style restaurant for Canarian food, local wine and informal meals rather than resort-style dining. Reviews point to tasty traditional dishes, fair value, warm service when the room is running well, and waiters who help groups choose half portions so the table does not over-order.

The official site adds useful planning detail: lunch and dinner menus, events and groups, Brunch Canario and a Sabor de Canarias tasting for two. Service can be uneven, so it is best for a relaxed local meal where you can ask for guidance and let the table share.

Guest review summary

Commonly mentioned by visitors.

Traditional Canarian dishes are praised for flavour and fair value.

Waiters can help groups choose half portions and avoid ordering too much.

Brunch, tasting and group menus make the venue more flexible than a basic guachinche.

Service can be uneven; one group had dishes arrive all at once and another had to chase wine.

We had a wonderful lunch with warm, friendly service. The tapas were amazing and full of flavor – we really enjoyed it.

I had to wait at the bar until a table was free but it was a good decision. Food was delicious, many typical dishes and good vibes. Waiters are so kind and they recommended us to take half portions because we ordered several dishes. Prices were fair for the quality we got. Totally recommend it.

We came there a group of 4 and ordered meals to share and taste. The waiter brought them all which was not a good idea, there was no space in the middle of the table. While eating we had a nice time and the meals were really tasty.

Good food, offering classic dishes at a very reasonable price. However, the service left much to be desired. The staff wasn’t very attentive—we never received the glasses of wine we ordered and had to ask multiple times for the same items. Overall the ambience is good and there’s a good value for money

We visited this restaurant on Monday around 6 pm. There were no guests yet, so we were able to choose any table to sit. The staff was very hospitable and helpful and could help with the menu. Moreover, they helped to understand at which point it would be probably enough food. The food itself was good and very traditional, so one can try the very local version of the canarian dishes.
