About

Bodegon El Primero is a busy guachinche-style lunch stop near Santa Ursula, the kind of place visitors often find through local recommendations rather than a polished resort guide. Reviews point to chickpea soup, croquettes, meat dishes, pork, steak and house red wine, with cheerful service and prices that feel fair for the portions.

It works best as a simple north Tenerife lunch rather than a scenic restaurant. A queue can form, but reviews say it usually moves quickly. The trade-off is part of the format: parking is limited and the room is plain, so come for local food and value, not for a view.

A very good guachinche restaurant near Puerto de La Cruz. It was recommended by our local friends and it was amazing. There was a queue but it goes really fast. We loved the delicious selection of starters and the mains. The price was really good and the service very friendly

Pretty decent food. Friendly service. Probably the only place in Tenerife where I wish they had added more salt!!! 🤣🤣

The tapas were really nice, but the octopus was unfortunately overcooked. Not too much parking outside and you're staying inside a tent, without any view. So this place is OK, but it did not live up to the high expectations that we had after reading reviews.
