Ocean Life Tenerife Surf School

Kinda stumbled into this Surf School by accident. We were immediately impressed by Jamie’s warmth and unimposing way. We booked a family lesson, which was fantastic, good quality boards and wetsuits with showers at the end. We subsequently booked another lesson for our daughter which again was fantastic. The school has a wonderful family feel to it . Could not recommend Ocean Like more. Paul Slaymaker and family.

He’s got a trick. Missing waves? He’s got a tip. Feeling like a soggy noodle? He’ll hype you up like you’re the next surf champion.

Even after just one lesson, you’ll be catching waves, laughing like a maniac, and wondering if you can quit your job to become a beach bum. 🏖️

Thor doesn’t just teach — he transforms. You leave the water with salt in your hair, sand in weird places, and a heart full of unforgettable memories. It’s not just a surf lesson. It’s a life upgrade.

Final verdict: Thor is basically the superhero of surf instructors. If Aquaman gave lessons, he’d probably ask Thor for tips. 💪🌊

The group sizes were perfect, so everyone got personal attention, which is great for beginners and more experienced surfers alike. We can absolutely recommend this surf school and would come back anytime. Taking several consecutive days is especially worth it. You can truly feel the Aloha spirit here!! 🌺

I would definitely recommend this surf school! We had such an amazing time. Both surf instructors were incredibly patient, helpful, upbeat and just fantastic. I first went alone and enjoyed it so much that I had to come back. The second time I brought my father with me and we had just as much fun together. 🏄🏼‍♀️

At the beginning you receive clear safety instructions, followed by theory and dry practice. This helps a lot and makes it much easier to stay stable on the waves and learn how to surf properly. The lessons are very well structured. The owner is also very kind and creates such a welcoming atmosphere. There is even a camera team that takes amazing pictures . A perfect memory to keep! 📸
