Restaurante Rocamar is a quieter Garachico seafood option, useful when the busier waterfront places are full or slow. Reviews praise seafood paella, friendly staff, a calm cosy setting and simple desserts such as goat cheese with fig jam or yogurt with blueberry jam.
It can feel a little tucked away, which is part of the charm if you want a calmer meal. The strongest praise comes from guests who gave up waiting elsewhere and found Rocamar warmer and more personal. Current stored hours are evening-focused and closed Saturday to Sunday, so check timing carefully before planning around it.

Extremely friendly people and very nice view. Went there years ago, passed by at 3pm, was looking at the beautifully decorated little court. Asked if I could eat there, but the staff said it was actually closed in the afternoon. But then they invited me to come and sit at the balcony with the view on the sea and I could order a meal! I had an amazing meal, all alone on the balcony of this restaurant. Will never forget.

This place is a bit „hidden“ from another side of the street, and there were not many people around when we were there. However, the chef was absolutely nicest person and dishes were so delicious. It felt that fish and octopus were fresh and their taste was nicely emphasized with proper seasoning. Absolutely recommend!

Food was delicious - we had the seafood paella. The desserts were simple but tasty - goat cheese with figs jam and yogurt with blueberries jam. The waitress was very nice and helpful. It’s in a courtyard and since it was raining all tables in the open were not available.

We were waiting forever to be served across the street at one of the most popular beach restaurants, until we decided to try our luck elsewhere and Rocamar was a true treasure we found. It's a small family establishment with a cozy atmosphere, attentive hostess and delicious food for adorable prices.

We went there since most restaurants in Garachico are closed Wednesday and Thursday. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The sitting is calm nice and cosy. The food was good, the seafood platters came accompanied by delicious baked potatoes. They accept visa cards. Totally recommended if you're in Garachico.
