Restaurante Proa Norte

Always a good choice. Always lively, fine location with many tables overlooking ocean and road traffic. Simple, yet tasty options, not only bar food. Great team and service. Outstanding price / quality ratio. Local people mixing with tourists… better outside, as inside could be a bit refreshed soon.

We spent 1 week in Garachico, ate 5 times out, 4 times in this restaurant/pub. We hate eating in the same restaurant twice, but this was so good we came back time and time again. If you expect haute cuisine, don't go here. If you know the best food is where the locals eat, this is your place. This is basically the place where locals celebrate their evening after a hard days work; but, it has a really great kitchen that outstand the normal local pub. We loved it.

Our favourite restaurant in Garachico. The locals regarded simply as a local caffe but the cuisine and service are exquisite not to mention good pricing. Having tried all the high-end restaurants in town, the food at Proa Norte is the best. Highly recommended.

A local friend took me there to eat. The food was of really good quality though I feel it could be better. Like the croquetas with cod were tough for example and the mushrooms with the cheese filling were a little too watery but the overall experience and the friendliness of the staff made up for it. The queso and the fried potatoes were excellent !

Fantastic tasting food in a cosey place in a corner of the town. The friendly waiters are very attentive.
