Restaurante Ca'n Aya is a small Garachico seafood restaurant by the promenade, with the kind of kitchen that guests notice because they can see food being prepared close by. Reviews praise fresh seafood, a cosy room, a local-family feel and a terrace with a beautiful view.
The most memorable order signal is the lemon basil cremoso, mentioned with enough enthusiasm to stand out from the usual fish-and-view praise. Service can take time when the place is busy, and the terrace sits close to the road, so choose it for fresh cooking and character rather than silence.

Very good seafood right at the promenade. Service was 4/5 as they took quite some time until the noticed us despite making eye contact. It was also rush hour, so this happens and the food was amazing, so we would come back again :)

Ca’n Aya is a real gem. It’s small, but very cozy, with a lovely atmosphere and a beautiful view. The food is absolutely delicious, and the team is amazing—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. I always enjoy coming here and highly recommend it!

Amazing food. U can sit right next to the kitchen and watch ur food being prepared by local elderly lady. You have to try the lemon basil cremosso , its just the best! Impressed by onion soup and wonderfully cooked seafood with leeks

We supposed to only have snack and a drink but couldn’t resist and order more. Everything was super tasty and fresh. Run by local family. You may wait a bit to get a table but it’s worth it.

The food was absolutely 10/10. The terrace is placed right next to the road so it is quite busy there. There are also few tables inside where you can see ditectly to the kitchen. We found our place immediately but we saw others who waited for a table for a while. But it also shows that it’s probably worth to wait. 👌
