La Tasca de Cristian

Delicious- everything was simple but incredibly flavorful and skillfully prepared. Quality food in a very charming traditional space. We ordered off the menu and highly recommend the steak, butterfish, warm seafood salad, tuna croquettes. Unfortunately the aged meats start at 1kg servings and we wanted to try other items on the menu instead.

Absolutely incredible food. Creamy croquetas that melt in your mouth, great quality meat and delicious cod. The desert was a bit too sweet, but still very tasty. The staff was professional, but a bit impatient and reluctant to translate and explain things to me as I didn't understand some dishes in Spanish. We loved the interior too. Overall, a fantastic experience - to be repeated!

Great sheep's cheese dip and basil prawn starters. Some vg meat, too. Nice Canarian wine. Very busy on a Tuesday night. Makes sense.

Had a great time at La Tasca de Cristian after the long flight plus bus journey 🥴 Atmosphere in the restaurant was absolutely amazing, small entrance but spacious and historic inner hall. The dishes were delicious, especially the croquettes, different from what we have in the Netherlands😋 did not feel like having a full dinner so just went for seafood salad, and it was also very tasty. My boyfriend ordered the beef, I didn’t try but could tell he was enjoying it a lot 👍🏻

We have enjoyed a delicious lunch at this Tasca. Service was very good, and prices reasonable. A shame the pork was served rare, but it was promptly corrected. Highly recommended if you are looking for gourmet food that is nicely served. They also prepared a nice dish of breaded chicken breast with potato fries for our daughter. The accompanying bread was very nice, and we all enjoyed a beautiful white wine. It ambiance is cosy and quiet. Toilets are very clean, which isn't common in Tenerife! The restaurant is very small and gets fully booked quickly, so reservations are required. Overall, I would say this is one of the best restaurants on the island, and one we will definitely want to revisit.

Update: On our last visit in December 2022, we found this restaurant to be too expensive. Nicely cooked, but overall not great value for money.
