NINTAI is a small La Laguna Japanese restaurant for a quieter meal than a casual sushi takeaway. Positive reviews praise fresh ingredients, carefully presented sushi, attentive service and an intimate room that can make lunch or dinner feel special.
There is one serious warning in the reviews: a guest strongly questioned the quality and value of raw-fish dishes, including usuzukuri and tuna tartare. That does not cancel the good feedback, but it does make premium raw fish worth asking about before ordering a large set.

We were delighted to discover this little gem. From the warm welcome to the attentive service, everything felt thoughtful and genuine. The atmosphere is inviting and intimate, and the interior is full of character and charm. Perfect for a relaxed lunch or a cozy dinner.
Most importantly, the food was outstanding. The sushi was among the best we’ve tasted in Tenerife. fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special yet unpretentious dining experience.

TERRIBLE food... I am not sure if the reviews are bought with money... When you charge 20 EUR for 60 grams of fish (usuzukuri) you expect it to be made perfect. But no, the fish looked like it was cut with an axe. Terrible and high prices is only illusion of luxury. Tuna tartare was also bad, either it was old or was a very low quality product, or a cut of tuna. Fish was ABSOLUTELY unacceptable. Fried chicken made us nauseus because it was way too oily. Yes I know it is supposed to be "oily", WRONG, we were litearlly chewing soggy chicken skin... I am sorry guys, I do not often take it upon myself to write a bad review for a restaurant unless I find it very bad. We WASTED 60 eur, for two people. Absolute L
