About

La Bruma Restaurante is a small La Laguna restaurant for creative tapas and a tasting-menu style meal rather than a quick old-town snack. The dishes people remember are specific: croquettes, tuna tartare, pork cheeks, eggplant with goat cheese and honey, duck dumplings, gyoza in kimchi sauce and guava cheesecake.

The useful detail is portion size. Several guests say the plates are more generous than the word tapas suggests, and the tasting format works well for two people sharing. It sits slightly away from the main La Laguna route, which helps the hidden-restaurant feel, but the room should be cleaner according to one review.

We ate a small degustation menu and were pleasantly surprised from the quality and variety. Also the service was very friendly.

Simply exceptional! Every plate an absolute delight. "Simple plates" but quality ingredients prepared with a little creative extra twist. Though it says "tapas" and the modest price is definitely "tapas" level -    portions are extremely generous. This place definitely  is the so called hidden gem, located in a residential neighbourhood of La Laguna. I discovered it and found my way through the magic of internet and Maps. ServiceThe deco might surprise. The only critic, the wine card unfortunately plays a league below the food.

What an amazing place. Somewhat off the beaten path, well worth the short walk from our our hotel to it. We opted to choose the tapas due to recommendations from here. We had the croquettes, tuna tartar and Park cheeks. Some of the most flavoursome dishes we have ever had; and we’ve dined at some big Michelin star restaurants. We finished off with a home made guava cheesecake which was divine. This is punching well above its weight. You must try here!

Amazing food and service. A must go if you are in La Laguna. We opted for the tasting menu, 4 dishes to share between two people + 1 dessert each. All delicious and good portion sizes. The eggplant & goats cheese with honey is outstanding... Still dreaming about it now

Tasty dumplings with duck and gyoza in a kimchi sauce. Good dessert. Nice service. The place could be a bit cleaner though.
