Wow,wow,wow a gem in Old-town Santa Cruz. An authentic Northern Tenerife cuisine at its finest. Good:5-Spectacular home made Northern Tenerife cuisine. Every dish we had was unique and memorable. The croquettes are some of the best we have ever had in Spain 🇪🇸. The inside squid croquettes are just creative and wonderful. The pork cheeks in olive oil was a wonderful start to our main course. The beef cheeks stew on a bed of mash potatoes was what your mother would make for you. A wonderful combination of home cooked with an amazing wine sauce was just pure heaven. The steak was also really well prepared and the simplicity was the best part. The other two dishes were equally tasty. Atmosphere:5-Just the perfect setting that looks like an old home or farm house. The inside is charming and traditional, love it. Service:5-we had no restrictions but they still found space on a busy Mother’s Day evening. If we come back to Tenerife La Abadia would be a must.

My mother, my mothers partner and I had the best meal of our whole holiday here and truth be told it was one of my favourite meals I have ever had with my Mom on holiday. The food was delicious - interesting - creative - the display was like something out of mitchellen star restaurant. So impressive - the atmosphere is so authentic you really feel like you are in a traditional Canary village. We only wish our Spanish was better to truly understand all the menu and specials so I reccomend using google translate to make sure you dont miss anything. My mothers partner was so enamoured by the place he started joking that he was going to move to the town and sell his own house. GRACIAS FOR SUCH A SPECIAL EXPERIENCE!!!

Everything was delicious. The service was friendly. They speak French and English too. Our favorite restaurant so far in Tenerife and we would come back if we stayed longer. I recommend the croquettes for starters. It's probably best to make a reservation in advance.

The food 5/5 tender, full of taste and exactly done as should. We had the salmon with potatoes and beef cheeks in red wine sauce bedded in mashed potatoes. The service was great, the place looks adorable. This place made me do my second review in 5 years haha. Earned!

They know how to cook meat. Was great taste! Chairs are not the most comfortable ones. Area inside is cute. Waitress very friendly
