Del Mar Fish Bar - Restaurante Bar

An absolute gem!The restaurant is tucked away on a charming little street and has a very cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The service was flawless – very prompt and attentive. The food was simply outstanding, honestly so, so good! We started with an amazing appetizer of marinated tuna with tomatoes, which was incredibly fresh and flavorful. For the main, we had perfectly grilled shrimp served alongside those iconic Spanish green peppers (padrón peppers). Everything was superb. I absolutely loved it here and highly recommend this place!

We had a fantastic dinner at Del Mar Fish Bar in Puerto de la Cruz. The restaurant is beautiful, modern, and has a very welcoming atmosphere.

The service was excellent from start to finish. The staff gave us friendly and professional advice about both the food and the wine, which made the experience even better.

We started with the Clams in Homemade Sauce and they were absolutely delicious — the perfect starter to share. The wine recommendation was also excellent and paired perfectly with the seafood.

The highlight of the evening was definitely the Del Mar Pasta. It was simply divine: fresh seafood, perfectly cooked pasta, and full of flavor.

To finish, we had the Basque Cheesecake, and it was incredible — creamy, rich, and one of the best desserts we’ve had on Tenerife.

Highly recommended if you are looking for fresh seafood, great wine, and outstanding service in Puerto de la Cruz. We will definitely come back!

Very nice restaurant in a central location. The service was welcoming and attentive throughout the visit, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The seafood was delicious and the cocktails were excellent. We particularly enjoyed the croquettes, the beer-battered fish, and the seafood skewers, all served with very tasty potatoes and salad on the side.

The restaurant itself also has a lovely design and a beautiful atmosphere.

Overall, a very pleasant place that we would gladly recommend.

This was an incredible experience. The restaurant is in a quiet street not far from the church. The food is fantastic and the restaurant staff is friendly. Marco tried to be at our service whenever we needed it. We had octopus salad and pasta with shrimp, clams... Thanks to Marco and the entire young restaurant team.

Our first meal after arriving in Tenerife and it couldn’t have been better. Everything was amazing and delicious — the seasoning was spot on and the portions were fair for the price. I especially loved the shark skewer and the fried whitebait. Would definitely come back next time!
