About

Al Andalus Tasca is a small La Laguna restaurant for Andalusian cooking, with paella doing most of the heavy lifting in the reviews. Guests mention seafood paella as genuinely memorable, plus fried aubergine, assorted fried fish, salad with a good sauce and a wine list that fits the food.

The room is small, so booking is sensible for lunch or a planned dinner. Feedback is mostly warm, especially around hospitality and paella, but one visitor reports mediocre food and poor attitude. Treat it as a focused paella-and-Andalusian meal, not a guaranteed safe choice for every occasion.

We ate here last night and had the most delicious Paella! We didn’t know to call in advance to request the dish so they could prepare it but they did so for us anyways when we got there- which was amazing because having authentic Paella before heading home to Canada was on our list. We were grateful for their hospitality and would recommend everyone to go there.

We discovered this restaurant by chance and were happy to have lunch there ! We ordered a delicious seafood paella and a salade with an amazing sauce. My husband and I found their paella the best we have eaten so far in Spain and Canary Islands. Special mention to a waiter who spoke French with us. We highly recommend this restaurant !

Great Andalusian restaurant! Friendly and pleasant service, moderate prices, and fantastic food. Excellent wine selection to accompany the meal.

Change of location has improved greatly this restaurant. Started with fried aubergine followed by fried platter of assorted fish all to share. Dessert of mascapone flan and a slice of carrot cake. Bottle of white fruity wine to compliment the food, all very good. Reservation was for lunch and as only 8 table's best to reserve.

Mediocre food. Bad attitude. A restaurant that is more profit oriented and forgot it's also about hospitality.
