Tasquita del Puerto

Amazing restaurant! We were recommended by locals in San Blas for their quality seafood places as we really wanted fresh seafood, and we were not disappointed when we went to La Tasquita Del Puerto! What can I say, very welcoming and friendly staff especially Jorge who attended us like we were family. The food incredible, and the location great as well. We found the price reasonable especially after seeing the quality of the food as well as the portion sizes. Would highly recommend if you are near Los Abrigos area or passing by!

This was one of those small port village discoveries that makes travelling worth it. Tiny place, small menu, nothing fancy in appearance — but the food… absolutely incredible.

Fresh fish, simply cooked, extremely tasty and shockingly cheap for the quality you get. You can tell they work with what comes in that day — very honest cooking, very fresh product, zero pretense.

I actually found this place while searching online for hidden gems and local recommendations — and this one delivered exactly that. A genuine little treasure you would never randomly find if you didn’t know to look for it.

If you love small authentic seaside food places, this should be on your list. Amazing food, great value, relaxed vibe, real local feel. Perfect little port restaurant.

Fantastic restaurant right on the waterfront. The Paella was amazing! The octopus and the mix seafood were delicious as well. A bit pricey but great food.

No words to describe this amazing place. Try to sit at the front as you get the best view while eating the best food. The owner was lovely as well he took good care of us.

Compared to other restaurants in Los Abrigos, this place may not be significantly worse – but that alone does not make it good. The many positive reviews are difficult to understand if you expect a genuinely high-quality seafood restaurant.

If you are simply looking for an inexpensive meal in a nice location by the water, it is acceptable. However, if you are expecting excellent fish and seafood, this is not the place to go.

The selection of fish is quite limited, and the overall quality of the fish and seafood we were served was disappointing. The dishes felt uninspired: fish was presented without care, side dishes were underwhelming, and the starters were greasy and under-seasoned.

The menu seems to aim for a “modern” or trendy touch with combinations like tuna with avocado or sea bream with mango, but the execution falls short. The kitchen appears to be trying to be creative without having the technical foundation or ingredient quality to support it.

Service was initially polite and trying hard, but became noticeably unfriendly toward the end of the evening. The atmosphere also suffers from details such as an old refrigerator standing visibly in the dining area, which does n
