About

Restaurante El Mirador de los Abrigos is built around a glazed indoor terrace almost at sea level, so the setting is a major part of the meal. Reviews point to a strong waterfront view, professional service and seafood dishes such as tuna, sole meuniere, garlic prawns and crispy calamari rings.

It can work for a family meal despite the polished setting, because staff are repeatedly described as warm and good with children. Paella gets more mixed feedback than the rest of the menu: at least one visitor felt the portion looked bigger than it was and that the price, among the higher ones in the area, did not fully match what arrived. If value is the priority, choose the seafood mains more carefully.

Visited at lunchtime with my wife. Very busy but still received good service. Decided to go for our own choices on a seafood platter for 2. Everything was beautifully cooked and served with a delicious salad. Not cheap but very good. Can recommend

This was the best restaurant I visited in Tenerife! The atmosphere was wonderful and very cozy, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and very customer-oriented — they really make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive.

The food was absolutely amazing, incredibly delicious and beautifully served. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. I was also very impressed by how clean and well-organized everything was.

I truly loved this place and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tenerife. I will definitely come back again!

El Mirador de Los Abrigos, a family dining experience with breathtaking ocean views We visited El Mirador de Los Abrigos with our family last week and ended up dining here twice, both lunch and dinner.

One practical tip above all: book a table on the glazed indoor terrace. You sit practically at sea level overlooking Los Abrigos Bay, with the feeling of being right on the water. The sunset from this spot is simply spectacular. one of those moments you won’t forget. We feasted on tuna, a beautifully executed sole meunière, gambas and crispy calamari rings, every dish was outstanding, showcasing the freshest local seafood prepared with real skill and care. The food is simply fantastic.

The staff are spot on, professional, warm and genuinely great with kids, which made the whole experience completely relaxed and enjoyable for the whole family. It’s no surprise this place is so popular.

Book in advance and make sure you request that glazed terrace table. An absolute must visit on the south coast of Tenerife!

Superb! We had the pleasure of spending New Year's Eve here for an amazing five course gala dinner. Food excellent, great selection of wine and drinks. We had a table next to some of the family and had some fun with them and the rest of the staff who were engaging and attentive. A great way to end 2025 and start 2026. Feliz ano nuevo a Todos

Been visiting Tenerife and El Mirador for years. Restaurant is in a beautiful spot, on the seafront. We enjoyed the vegetable chicken paella, and fried baby squid for starters. Service was friendly and efficient. The paella was in a shallow pan, looked a bigger portion than it actually was , about 4 pieces of little chicken drumsticks, but the veg was yummy and nicely cooked. Probs not the best paella we’ve had, but rice itself was yummy, and cooked perfectly! It is one of the most expensive restaurants in the area, the paella was €27 each, which didn’t reflect in the portion size or taste and wouldn’t say it was worth that. But the restaurant is beautiful place to sit and enjoy the seafront.
