About

La Paella Restaurante is a Los Abrigos seafood restaurant where the name is literal but not the whole story. The best reviews praise seafood paella, a fresh seafood platter, fish, prawns and friendly staff who remember guests' orders; the harbour strip gives it the classic south-coast seafood setting.

The useful caution is consistency. Some visitors describe heavenly paella and return more than once, while others report delays, overfried food or poor hygiene details. Choose it when you want a Los Abrigos seafood meal with paella in the mix, and ask clearly about portion size and timing before ordering larger plates.

The paella was perfect. We enjoyed the moment spent there. Very calm with a nice view. A big thanks to the gentleman who served us! He was very kind, friendly, and smiling. He made our experience even more enjoyable.

We stayed in Los Abrigos for two weeks and visited this restaurant on our very first day. The seafood platter was fresh, perfectly cooked, and had no strong fish smell at all. One platter for two is more than enough.

After that first visit, we came back almost daily for drinks and light snacks. The staff are always happy, welcoming, and genuinely enjoy a bit of small talk. After just a couple of days, they even remembered our usual orders, which made the experience feel really personal and unique. Highly recommended!

The best paella you can ever eat. Heavenly. We did not leave a single grain on the pan. The richness of the flavour is just unmatched. Lovely people as well. If I could give 10 stars I would 🌟

I think they own three different spots along the strip with two independent restaurants between them so the service is split between them. The staff were very accommodating and great portion sizes. We got the grilled king prawns (although they didn’t seem grilled) and the Canarian potatoes.

At first the service was good, then more than 30 minutes went by and we didn’t get the food. Asked and said it would come. After much anticipation the food came. To be honest. It wasn’t the best. The calamari was over fried, the mussels were salty but the fish of the day was good. Also I found a hair in the calamari, added the picture. I can compliment the sauce but that’s about it. I didn’t do a happy food dance. That says a lot…..
