Taberna Ramón

This place is across the Plaza de Toros in Santa Cruz. The restaurant is rather small where you can eat at the counter or at small tables. The owners and the waiters are very kind and helpful to assist you with your choice of dishes. The food is delicious and value for money. The red house wine as well. Be prepared to wait for a table, even if you booked ahead. However, once seated, you will be served promptly. We recently went back for dinner and again enjoyed the delicious food. Moreover, we offered the owners our football club scarf 🧣

A great local tavern with friendly and efficient services, and lots of choices with decent value. We came back several times. Well recommended!

I went there twice during my trip, and honestly the food was amazing both times. I loved it so much that I wanted my last dinner to be from there again.

The restaurant was super busy and we couldn’t get a reservation, but the manager was incredibly kind and generous. They still prepared my order to go and even offered it as a compliment for coming back again.

We absolutely loved this charming tapas bar! The cozy street-side vibe, traditional décor, and rows of jamón hanging behind the counter make it feel authentically Spanish. The service was warm and attentive, and every dish we tried was full of flavor – from the perfectly seared foie gras on crispy bread to the tender beef in creamy sauce and the fresh seafood. The atmosphere is vibrant yet relaxed, making it a perfect spot to enjoy great food and drinks with friends or family.

The food was ok,but for something that it looks very traditional,the food wasn't amazing. For my taste there could be a little more salt,and for the shrimps I would expect a better taste,but there was too much garlic. The chicken could be way better prepared..
