About

Slow Coffee Puerto de la Cruz is a serious coffee stop rather than a generic cafe. The official menu points to espresso drinks, batch brew, V60, AeroPress and Chemex, while reviews focus on flat whites, smooth coffee, fresh pastries and a small, clean room that suits a deliberate morning break.

Food stays light: croissants, cookies, granola, smoothies and juices, with enough for breakfast but not a full lunch. Opening hours are not captured in the current verified source set, so check the listing before crossing town specifically for coffee. If it is open, this is one of the more useful north-side cards for people who care about the cup itself.

Commonly mentioned by visitors.

Flat whites, batch brew and filter methods make it a stronger coffee card than a normal cafe.

Pastries, granola and smoothies cover a light breakfast without overcomplicating the menu.

The small, clean room works well for a focused coffee stop in Puerto de la Cruz.

Verified opening hours are not captured yet, so check before making a dedicated trip.

We walked in there from the street completely by accident. In Spain, you usually can’t get specialty coffee in small towns, so it was quite a surprise — but after a moment it turned out to be one of the best coffees we’ve ever had

Great batch brew and excellent service. Very tasty pastries. Greetings to the guy I talked with about Arsenal — it was his last day at work. Best of luck going forward ♥️

The coffee is good, but they don’t have a toilet. That is bad service and according to my opinion unacceptable in 2025.

Update after response of the owner: thank you for your reply, yes my surname is real, I don’t know if you are mocking me by this question and spelling my last name wrong (twice). I’m doubting to give you one star less for that. I’m from the Netherlands, when coffee shops and other bars write Take away in the Netherlands they just mean that you can also order to take it with you.

I think we better call this a misunderstanding/miscommunication and wish you good business in the future.

Update after second response of the owner:

Thank you for your second reply and correcting the spelling mistakes. I think we understand each other now and that is great. That is a coincidence, we already went to your other shop in Orotava this morning and I really liked the coffee and the staff. And my pregnant wife could go to the toilet while waiting for the coffee so that was beneficial. I changed my review to 5 stars, keep up the good work :)
