It was an excellent quality food. I love it. Two times meals in two days. During Dinner I had an excellent Sea Bass. Fresh and taste very good. High recommended.
Chinese restaurant
4.6 (5)Playa de las Americas10-20 €

Restaurante Oriental Gran Familia is a long-running Chinese restaurant in Playa de las Americas, built around a comfortable, unhurried dining room rather than a quick canteen-style setup. Shared starters, sizzling beef and duck are the dishes visitors mention most, usually alongside praise for generous portions and staff happy to pack up leftovers.
Service is consistently described as warm and attentive, with a named head waiter mentioned repeatedly for good reason. Food quality is not always even, though: one visit described an overly spicy dish served against the order and a dessert that would not come off the plate, so it is worth treating the kitchen as generally strong rather than flawless every time.

We had a really nice experience at this Spanish restaurant! The food was good and the staff were incredibly kind and friendly. The food took a bit longer to arrive, but the staff’s great attitude made up for it. Overall, a lovely experience!

Superb meal here tonight. So tasty and cooked to perfection. We had the shared starter and the duck and sizzling beef. The staff were really helpful and friendly particularly Alex the head waiter. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I had heard a lot of good things about the place and my expectations were high. the service was beyond expectations! we were received really well and the service was excellent throughout the evening. however, we came for the food and it was a little disappointing. the appetizer was as expected. the main course was already disappointing and so was the dessert. my food was spicier than I ordered and the dessert was stuck to the plate so I couldn't get it off. the food was not bad but i didn't get what i ordered and what i came for.

Yes, the shared-starter format and generous portions work well for a table of several people.
