Paella
The most repeated positive dish signal, described by guests as genuinely memorable.

Restaurante La Marea & Copacabana Cocktail Bar is a Puerto de la Cruz restaurant for seafood, paella and cocktails rather than a quick snack. The strongest review signals are concrete: paella described as one of the best guests had tried, seafood platters, fried seafood tapas, queso frito, cold sangria-style drinks and a lava cake worth keeping room for.
It is not a perfectly even card. One review found the seafood soup too tomato-heavy and another felt the set menu service lacked warmth, so the safest order is the seafood-led main menu rather than treating every tourist-menu dish as equal. Come for paella, seafood and cocktails with friends; choose somewhere narrower if you want a quiet, chef-led dinner.

This restaurant delivered one of the best dining experiences I’ve had! The paella was simply outstanding – perfectly cooked, rich in flavor, and loaded with fresh seafood. As for the seafood platter, it was an absolute highlight: generous portions, beautifully presented, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. If you’re a seafood lover, this place is a must-visit! Great atmosphere and attentive service only made it better. Highly recommended!

I ordered sea food soup 🍲 and premium sirloin steak .🥩 Soup was very “tomato” not to long cooked with dominant tomato taste. Steak very good! Here was real surprise. Only missing some souses. Had ketchup, mustard or mayo. Staff not very well oriented what is in the menu.. Generally not bad taking in to consideration such touristic place.

I had the set menu of the day, and overall it was a fairly complete and enjoyable meal. The starter – queso frito – was delicious and definitely the highlight. The main course left me with mixed feelings; it was okay, but not particularly memorable. The dessert was good and ended the meal nicely.
The food was decent overall, though not exceptional. The real standout is the cocktail menu – the drinks were excellent, flavorful, and clearly made with care.
The service, however, could use some improvement. It wasn’t bad, but it lacked a bit of warmth and attentiveness at times.
Still, I’d recommend the place, especially for the cocktails and atmosphere, and I’d be happy to come back and try a different dish next time – I feel like there’s real potential here.
