Iberian ham and Canarian restaurant
4.7 (5)La Orotava20-30 €

Restaurante El Jamon de Moises is safest when the table wants Iberian ham, cold cuts, cheese and meat in a small family-room setting. The mixed ham platter works for a lighter lunch, while goat, black-pig steak and cheese with gofio give the meal a stronger Canarian note.
The appeal is not a broad modern menu. It is the combination of good ham, warm service, fair prices and a cosy room where staff can guide the order without making it formal. The current operational signal marks the business as temporarily closed, so treat this as a saved option to verify before travelling to La Orotava for it.

Good value for quality ham and other cold cuts. We got the big mixed platter with two servings of bread for three guys, which was perfect for a light lunch. The service was friendly and accommodating.
