Restaurant Rosario is the kind of Los Cristianos Italian restaurant where the details matter more than the label. Reviews keep coming back to seafood handled with an Italian touch: tempura prawns with light focaccia, black tonnarelli with burrata, shrimp and pistachio, carbonara, fillet steak and a paella that one guest singled out after a very strong meal.
The room also has sea views, but the stronger reason to choose Rosario is the way the staff guide the table through food and wine. Several guests describe the service as unusually attentive and personal, especially for birthdays and last-night dinners. It is better suited to a considered evening meal than a quick pizza stop, and the price range should be treated accordingly.

We were looking for somewhere a bit special and found it at Rosaro's. Both Alex and Mathias were very attentive and friendly, providing their help with both the wine and menu. Tempura prawns were enough to share with fresh focaccia which was extremely light. Carbonara and fillet steak were delicious mains, flavourful and rich. Desert was also delicious.

A must-visit in Tenerife. Incredible, flavour-packed food, excellent service, and hands down my favourite place so far. Don’t miss the paella!

We were at Rosario restaurant celebrating a family member’s 50th birthday at the beginning of December, and I can warmly recommend this restaurant to others as well! The food was delicious, and everyone in our party found something they liked on the menu. A special mention must go to the restaurant’s service and staff, who created an unforgettable atmosphere for our visit. It’s rare to receive service that is this exceptionally good. The restaurant also did a wonderful job of acknowledging our birthday guest. All in all, our rating for this evening at the restaurant is excellent, and we can wholeheartedly recommend it to others.

A wonderful gem of a proper Italian restaurant making best use of Canarian ingredients especially the sea food. Definitely a step up from many busier places nearby. And the waiting staff are knowledgeable & passionate about the food.

The perfect restaurant for our last night here on Tenerife. Firstly, I loved the food. I had the black tonnerello with burrata, shrimp and pistachio. A combination I could not have thought of myself, but was so very delicious! Also nice drinks, very kind staff and great view over the sea. 10/10 would recommend! 😊🫶🏻 Thank you!!
