Ramen Shifu - Santa Cruz de Tenerife

We were instantly attracted by the anime theme. After consulting the menu for my vegetarian partner we found there to be a rather large selection. The food was amazing, very glad we came.

I’ve been to ramen restaurants before, but this one was even more delicious than I expected. Everything was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. I ordered the Arroz Kiku, which was absolutely amazing, and I also tried a pork grilled bao bun and Toriman Teriyaki — all of them were truly delicious. I definitely recommend this place.

We wanted a quick tasty lunch that was not a burger or boring fast food and we were so grateful to find this little place. The staff are so kind and attentive we didn’t want to leave! I have never had a ramen before and on the basis of this one I will look for one again. Quality food and so tasty. My partner had what I think were called Gyozas? She loved them all. To top it off we had a couple of glasses of wine which was so cheap we couldn’t believe it! If I am ever here again this is where I’ll go. Lovely interesting decor as well.

The restaurant has a really nice vibe and a great variety on the menu. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had a homemade lemonade — really refreshing — and steamed duck dumplings that were tasty, though a bit open on the edges. The highlight of the meal was the Tonkotsu Ramen: the chashu was flavorful, the egg was good (though only half), the noodles were a bit too soft and sticky, and the broth tasted somewhat like instant maggi soup
