Pulcinella is a warm Italian restaurant in Santa Cruz for fresh pizza, gnocchi and parmigiana rather than a generic tourist meal. Visitors praise the soft pizza, friendly team and family-like room; the dough and price are often singled out.
Not every pizza combination gets the same enthusiasm, so choose a classic pizza or gnocchi rather than assuming every special will suit you. Monday and Tuesday are closed; from Wednesday it runs lunch and dinner.

Great Italian food freshly made. Really seriously good, not your typical tourist style frozen pizzas. Also a big plus is that the staff is very friendly.
We had pizza and gnocchi, both were a great choice for a fair price. Would recommend to reserve.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! The pizza here is genuinely some of the best I’ve ever had—perfectly crispy crust, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of cheese and sauce. You can tell they really care about quality and flavor. Every bite was delicious, and I’m already dreaming about my next visit!
But what truly made the experience unforgettable was the staff. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and friendly attitudes. The service was fast, attentive, and incredibly genuine. You can feel the positive energy in the whole place—it’s like they love what they do, and it shows.
It’s rare to find a spot that nails both the food and the atmosphere so well. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and stop by. This is more than just a pizza place—it’s a place where you feel welcomed and leave happy (and full!).
Real Italian 🇮🇹 pizza!!!!🍕

The food was absolutely delicious—easily a 100 out of 10! The service is incredibly friendly, and the restaurant has a warm, family-like atmosphere with a charming retro touch. You truly feel welcomed with open arms. A fantastic experience all around!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻

The Margherita pizza was nice and very good value but we didn't really enjoy the Sorrento pizza, unfortunately, even though it was recommended by the waitress. The dough is very good, but it was a bit chewy yesterday. I know Neapolitan pizzas are meant to be elastic, but I've had better ones in Tenerife and in London (see my other reviews) The service could be a bit more attentive (there was a mistake and the bruschetta came after the pizzas) but the atmosphere was good. Prices are okay. There is no child's menu, unfortunately. Despite ordering bruschetta and 2 pizzas, we were given and charged for table bread, which is a bit odd but common practice in Tenerife. Only recommended if you are in the area and want a good pizza, but not worth a detour. PS: We've got a single child.
Start with a classic pizza or gnocchi.

Good for an easy family-style Italian meal.
