4.6 (5)Santa Cruz de Tenerife10-20 €

Osteria Galdos 28 is a small Santa Cruz Italian osteria where the better reviews focus on thin pizza, light pasta and fair prices. The pizza is described as unusually thin, the pasta as light rather than heavy, and the setting suits a simple lunch more than a long formal dinner.
Service feedback is sharply mixed. Some guests found the waiter pleasant and the atmosphere friendly, while two reviews describe uncomfortable treatment and a poor experience. That makes it a cautious pick: go for thin pizza and value if the room feels right, but do not treat it as one of the safest Italian bets in the city.

Pasta
Praised as careful and not overly heavy.
Format
A stronger use case than a special-occasion dinner.
Setting
Quiet and compact when service is running well.
Planning
Useful because opening hours are limited and Sunday is closed.

Delicious! You'll notice on the first bite that the food has been prepared with love and care. Both pizza's and pasta's are very light. Plus, the waiter is a really nice guy. Five stars!

Super delicious and it is the thinnest pizza I’ve ever tried! The service guy was also very pleasant, thanks a lot

If you like to be treated as trash then eat at this place. The waiter acted like he was having mental health issues problems all the time mumbling on his own. And we did our best to talk Spanish we where met with English remarks. The food was without any passion and absolutely not Italian. You get better quality at the frozen department of your local supermarket. Stay away.

I recently visited Osteria Galdos 28 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. While I appreciate the effort to communicate in Spanish, the waiter responded to me in English with an arrogant attitude, despite my attempts to speak Spanish.
It was noticeable that he spoke in Spanish with other tables, even when they were clearly not local. This lack of consistency and courtesy left a negative impression. I believe that all customers should be treated with respect, regardless of their language skills.
I hope my experience encourages the staff to be more welcoming to everyone.
