Spanish rice
Paella by advance order
A useful sign of a kitchen that treats paella as a planned dish, not a rushed afterthought.

Meson Las Lanzas is a traditional Spanish restaurant in Playa de las Americas where the useful orders are clear: paella if you order ahead, ham croquettes, Iberian pork, sirloin steak, beef and fish. Reviews praise generous portions, well-cooked Spanish food and a room that feels local enough to stand apart from the resort strip.
The caveat is the front-door experience. One stored review describes an awkward wait and unfriendly handling at the entrance, while the better reviews praise the atmosphere and service once seated. Book if you can, do not arrive in a rush, and choose it when you want a classic Spanish meal rather than a quick beach bite.

When we first walked in, a very kind lady greeted us and said she would clean a table for us we could clearly see 4free tables. While we were waiting at the entrance, a man came and told us they were full and had no space. It felt like he didn’t really want to welcome us, which was disappointing and made us uncomfortable especially as Asians, it didn’t feel very nice.
Thankfully, the sweet lady came back and confirmed she was preparing a table for us. Without her, we probably would have left and missed out on a great experience because the FOOD WAS EXCELLENT! It was our last night in town, otherwise we would have definitely returned on another day.
Amazing food, great atmosphere — but I hope in the future the welcoming attitude is consistent from the whole team. Thanks again to the lovely lady who took care of us! 🙏🍽️✨

If it were possible to give a 10 instead of a 5, I definitely would! From the generous portions to the amazing quality and excellent service, everything gets a 10 from me. Highly recommend!

A lovely local restaurant with great food. It’s always a good sign when you see locals and when you need to order the paella in advance. We ordered beef and fish and both were great, very well seasoned and grilled. I would recommend booking in advance as we saw many people being refused or having to wait for a table.

Lovely meal. Traditional Spanish food, very well cooked. Only small issue was pepper sauce lacked some flavour. Will be back.

Lovely restaurant with great food. You must have the ham croquettes and iberico pork which were so tasty! Sirloin steak was also cooked to perfection. Lovely atmosphere mostly made up of Spanish diners. Food and drinks was served quickly even with a large table of 40 in the restaurant. Approx 100 euro for a bottle of red wine, litre of water, ham croquettes, 2 x mains of pork and steak and 1 x creme brulee which was also delicious. We're going again during our stay! Highly recommend.
