Vermouth and tapas bar
4.8 (5)Los Cristianos20-30 €

La Vermuteria is a tiny Los Cristianos tapas bar run by Pedro and Angela, with vermouth, homemade food and only a few tables. Reviews are unusually consistent: croquettes, homemade tapas, apple pie, wine, generous vermouth pours and owners who explain sauces and stop guests from ordering too much.
Book ahead. Guests mention being turned away when the room is full, so this is a small personal tapas meal to plan, not a resort restaurant to wander into whenever you feel hungry.

Commonly mentioned by visitors.
Homemade tapas, croquettes and apple pie receive unusually warm praise.
Vermouth and wine feel guided, generous and good value.
Pedro and Angela give the small room a personal, cared-for feel.
There are very few tables, so arriving without a reservation can easily fail.

Had such a great night here the food was amazing and the owners made us feel so comfortable and looked after. They advised us on how many platers was a good amount after we almost over ordered. And they were so kind and patient with explaining the tapas to us and the sauces. We would most definitely come back here next time.

We came to this restaurant looking authentic Tapas, was unable to get a table initially as it was fully booked. But one of the patrons came up to us to tell us how great the food is and we must come back, so we did, and we were not disappointed.
The restaurant is ran by husband and wife, they were both very attentive. The food was exactly what we were looking for, tasty, authentic Spanish tapas. Highly recommend the croquettes, I wish I had ordered more.

Extra delicious home made food, cozy environment and friendly owners. Don't miss on desserts. Especially apple pie. We highly recommend it. And have a reservation or you will need to have real real luck as did we, twice 😇 🍀

Exceptional! Highly recommend a reservation! They only have a few tables inside and during bad weather we’re very fortunate to have made a reservation. The food was all delicious and the service was exceptional. Lots of homemade dishes with generous portions. We tried several of the vermouths, which were delicious. We asked for recommendations and were impressed by the knowledgeable suggestions and generous pours for a very reasonable price. Each glass of vermouth was 3-6 euro for top quality options. Truly impressed by every single dish. We even came back the next day (first time even considering such a thing) because we loved it so much. Truly top notch if you want fresh, delicious local tapas.

My favourite place on the island. Pedro and Angela are incredible hosts - top quality service and the best food and wine ever. Small and mighty! Don’t miss this place on your Tenerife holiday. Booking essential.
