About

LA PARANZA is a seafood restaurant inside the Pasarela shopping centre in Los Cristianos, and that contrast is part of the story: the setting is a food-court-style mall, but the seafood feedback is much stronger than the location suggests. Guests praise seafood platters, anchovies, tuna tartare bruschetta, octopus sandwiches with burrata, octopus burgers and paella.

Come for seafood and generous plates, not for a romantic dining room. It can get busy in the evening, so a short wait is realistic. If you do not mind the shopping-centre setting, the reviews point to one of the more interesting seafood stops in Los Cristianos.

Guest review summary

Commonly mentioned by visitors.

Seafood platters, octopus dishes and tuna tartare bruschetta make it more interesting than a typical mall restaurant.

Portions are often described as generous.

The food quality is the reason to go, despite the plain setting.

The setting is a shopping centre, and evening waits can happen.

We ate an incredible seafood platter for two! Mussels, scallops, giant prawns, squid and a swordfish steak. My favourite were the delicious deep fried crispy whole anchovies. Everything was perfectly cooked and so fresh. My daughter had an octopus sandwich with burrata and sun dried tomatoes, also fantastic. Such good value too. One star off because it’s in a busy, noisy food court which isn’t exactly chilled out but it’s not a reason to pass on this amazing place.

Visited based on Google reviews and wasn’t disappointed. Tuna tartare bushetta was so fresh and tasty. Recommended to try the octopus burger, it was delicious! Had the paella which was lovely, we shared everything. Friendly staff. Highly recommend. It is part of the food hall. Had a great cocktail from the bar across the way. Great place and views at night.

The food here is absolutely outstanding. We had the fish platter and the paella, and it was amazing. This was easily one of the best seafood meals we’ve ever had.

Don’t be put off by the fact that it’s a small kitchen in a food court. The quality of the food is on an entirely different level. The chef and the rest of the staff were also wonderful and incredibly welcoming.

Do yourself a favor and make a point of eating here.

P.S. The stall right behind them serves amazing Jamón Ibérico as well.

A street-food style restaurant that’s a bit tricky to find, and in the evening, there’s a slightly longer wait for food. But it was definitely worth it. We tried almost all the seafood and fish on the menu, and it was probably the best seafood I’ve ever had. Fresh, fragrant, juicy, flavorful, beautifully presented—simply wow.

As seafood lovers, my husband and I can’t recommend their grilled seafood, oysters and the iconic octopus sandwich more. Everything we ordered was phenomenal. The portion was generous as well. We will definitely go back to try other things on the menu.
