About

La Cueva De Los Abrigos looks ordinary from the street, then opens into a cave dining room downstairs and sea-view tables upstairs and outside. That setting is a real part of the experience, but the food reviews are also strong: paella, fish of the day, grilled sardines and vegetables are all described as fresh and carefully cooked.

It is better for a considered seafood meal than a cheap quick bite. Prices run higher than some nearby restaurants, and if you want the cave room specifically, booking ahead is sensible. Ask about portion size and fish prices before ordering larger seafood plates.

Good food and good service. We ordered fish of the day , grilled sardines, grilled vegetables as accompaniment. They are all very good. My fish taste fresh. The vegetables are crunchy. Good view of the sea. The only drawback is that the price is more expensive than the other restaurants in the area. We paid 65€ lunch for two. Starters and main courses only.

After walking around in Los Abrigos, we stopped for a drink and some snacks. The quality of the snacks was extraordinary and we converted to a full dinner with the perfectly coocked Paella - the best we have ever tasted. The seafood was perfectly heated keeping moist and tenderness, and the rice was al dente coocked in a delicious broth. Very nice scenery and view and professional service! We will be back!

We ordered the famous fish plate, we wanted to try something new... everything was delicious, but unfortunately there was nothing new there... we came here specifically from another town, because we saw this place on the blog, the girl there had a much larger and more varied fish plate... but we were satisfied!! stuff very friendly

What an amazing find! Looks like any normal restaurant from the street side but when you go down to the bottom floor it's a beautiful cave. Such a unique dining experience. The food is excellent and the service is very good. It's advisable to book a table of you want the cave seating area
