La Casa del Panadero

La Casa del Panadero was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Puerto de la Cruz.

We ended up coming here at least six times — and honestly, if we had discovered it earlier, we would have come every single day. That’s how good it is.

The croissants are absolutely incredible: perfectly flaky, beautifully baked, crispy on the outside and soft inside. The fillings (especially the pistachio!) are pure heaven. You can taste the quality and care in every bite.

The atmosphere warm and welcoming, and the smell of fresh pastries in the morning makes you instantly happy.

On our very last day before leaving the island, we made sure to come back for a farewell breakfast — because there was no better way to say goodbye to Tenerife than with their croissants and coffee.

If you’re in Puerto de la Cruz, this place is an absolute must❤️

I visited this artisanal bakery on a Tuesday morning with my wife and toddler and I was blown away by the amazing selection of pastries and bread.

I tried the croissants, eclairs and bread, and everything was fresh and delicious. The plain croissants were amazing and perfect for my kid to snack on, while the eclairs were creamy and decadent. The bread had a perfect crust and texture, and was clearly made with care for quality.

The service was friendly and quick.

Overall, this is hands down the best bakery in Tenerife, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for top-quality artisanal baked goods.

I have travelled Europe extensively and this spot serves an excellent range of croissants with great quality and taste. A must visit if in Puerto de la Cruz!

Came here for pistachio croissant and was really disappointed. Croissant itself was nice and tasty but cream filling was not pistachio but rather butter/white chocolate and sugar. It was extremely sweet, so it didn’t taste as pistachio at all. It simply tasted like sugar. If you are looking for delicate taste it is definitely not the one.

Coffee was average taste, a bit too bitter (maybe dark roasted beans). There were no tables in front of the cafe, so it felt more as take away shop.
