About

Cinecitta is a family-run Italian restaurant in Puerto de la Cruz where the strongest praise is for homemade pasta, fresh-dough pizza and a host-led welcome from Marcello. Reviews mention chicken Milanese, sea bass, fresh ingredients and a room that feels more like a casual Italian family restaurant than a polished resort venue.

The food feedback is very strong overall, but one guest reports food poisoning after a pasta dish, so keep it as a good Italian option with that isolated complaint noted rather than overselling it. Monday is closed; Tuesday to Saturday start mid-afternoon, and Sunday opens from lunch.

The food here was excellent! We had the chicken milanese and the sea bass, I'd highly recommend both!

The staff here were very friendly.

The atmosphere was nice, like a traditional family run restaurant.

The toilets were functioning and clean.

Just wow! Don’t let the casual appearance of this restaurant fool you- it’s the real deal if you love italian food. Fresh homemade pasta, superb ingredients and the maestro Marcello will make you feel at home. Perfect for any day of the week, and stupendously delicious.

Fantastic Italian meal What a find! This Italian is a family run business and the food is exceptional! Marcello was the perfect host. They squeezed us in at short notice for a family of x4 @8pm. The Pizzas were a hit and the dough made fresh & cooked to perfection as was the garlic breads. My husband ordered the Seafood Risotto and WOW this was the star of the show and the tastiest we have ever had! My Pear & Gorgonzola with homemade pasta was immense and my go to dish if I ever spot it on a menu. We hope to see you again soon.

First time I got a food poisoning 🤢 and it’s from this restaurant. The pasta tasted really bad but I tried to eat as much as I could because I wasted my money for it but this was not worthy at all. After I had the dinner here, I didn’t eat anything else and in 2 hours my stomach started to feel very uncomfortable and I woke up during the night to throw up and couldn’t sleep again. The next day I had diarrhea and I could eat something only a few bites all day because of being nauseous and stomachache. This restaurant really ruined my vacation!! I saw this restaurant had bad reviews but I thought they had good reviews pretty a lot too, maybe I should try. I regret it, I should’ve believed the bad reviews. I don’t know if they use old ingredients to cook, bad hygiene or something until some people got food poisoning 😤
