About

Arancino is a small Sicilian-leaning Italian restaurant in Puerto de la Cruz, with a menu that goes beyond pizza into arancini, pasta and cannoli. The room is simple and homely, and visitors often notice the warm, family-run feel before the food even arrives.

Pizza is a good reason to come, but the arancini are the detail that makes Arancino more interesting than a standard pizzeria: crisp outside, soft inside and full of flavour. Leave room for cannoli if you want the Sicilian side of the menu to make sense. One review found a pizza too wet from fresh mozzarella, so the safest order is to treat the place as a broader Italian stop rather than choosing by pizza alone.

Commonly mentioned by visitors.

Arancini are the clearest reason to order beyond pizza: crisp outside, soft inside and full of flavour.

Pizza, pasta and cannoli make it feel Sicilian rather than just another resort pizzeria.

The small room has a warm, family-run feel, with staff helping visitors choose.

One guest found a pizza too wet from fresh mozzarella, so pizza texture may depend on the order.

Definitely one of the best pizzerias I've ever eaten at, and that's enough. The place has a truly relaxed and laid-back atmosphere, and the hospitality is downright homey. I highly recommend the Cannoli Siciliani for dessert. ❤️

It was extremely delicious, the staff were wonderful. They greeted us with a smile and helped us choose what to order. The pizza was 100/10, the music was great—simply amazing. I highly recommend it! 🍕✨

It is a small Italian restaurant in Puerto de la Cruz, serving pizza, pasta, and classic street food bites. It’s a simple spot, but with a cozy charm — think family-style decor, photos on the walls, and shelves stacked with Mutti tomato cans. I tried the ravioli with pear and gorgonzola — a bold combo that was rich and creamy. The sauce was quite heavy, and with the addition of walnuts, maybe a bit too much for my taste. Still, it was warming and satisfying. The arancini, however, totally stole the show. Crispy on the outside, soft and juicy on the inside, with a flavorful filling — absolutely delicious. Although I didn’t order pizza myself, I saw it being served at other tables — Neapolitan style, with a puffy crust. It looked incredibly appealing.

The service was cold, the pizza was so watery that the base melted in my hand. The chef explained to me that he used fresh mozzarella and that created the water and he offered and brought me grated parmesan cheese to go with it. The edges of the pizza were good. Maybe I was just unlucky that I came in time where they were tired.
