Food was amazing. Fresh and reasonably priced; well-seasoned and balanced. Had paella pescado mari, padron peppers and croquetas. About the only place I could find that had squid ink rice too, and better than the paellas I had at other places. I rarely leave reviews but the service was such a 10/10 I have to. The maitre d’ was lovely. She was very helpful when we were still deciding on the restaurant and checked in at the end of our dinner while seeking our opinion on the experience. Most importantly she told off her colleagues’ assumption of our ethnicity (they had ‘nihao’-ed us enthusiastically). The waiter that served us was singing and humming to himself and constantly checking in on every table — made the place feel so welcoming. I could tell the restaurant cares about their staff and community from the way they work so happily and the fact that locals passed by to chitchat with the staff. Ambience was tied together with a great pianist-singer and the restaurant was filled with locals too! Always a good sign, will be back for sure.
