Monkey Park is the small south-coast animal stop you use when the family needs something contained, close and memorable without losing the whole day. It is much simpler than Loro Parque: shorter paths, close animal encounters, paid entry and an experience that usually fits into one to two hours.
That is the point. Put it before a beach afternoon, an airport buffer or an easy Los Cristianos day, and it works. Expecting a major wildlife park is the wrong setup.

This was the highlight of my holiday! Definitely book your tickets in advance though to skip the wait to get in. We paid to get a few bits of food, we started with two but loved feeding the Guinea pigs we went back for more. All the animals were so cute, and this was such a calm and quiet environment compared to other zoos I have been to. The staff were all kind. Could not recommend this place enough. Some of the cutest animals I have ever seen!

We arrived at the park by car-there is a very convenient parking area nearby. The entrance fee was €10, and we also bought food for €3, which is a very fair price.
I would like to highlight how clean the park was. We visited during the daytime, and all the enclosures were spotless, with no unpleasant smells at all. The animals did not seem scared or aggressive-they live in calm, peaceful conditions under the care of truly loving and attentive staff.
The only negative point (and this is absolutely not the park’s fault) was the behavior of some adult visitors. Unfortunately, a few people were sticking their fingers and hands toward the small monkeys in the open enclosure, shouting and behaving like clowns, which clearly frightened the animals. Thankfully, there was a staff member who quickly stepped in and stopped this behavior.
I was especially touched by the separate “kindergarten” area for guinea pigs-I simply couldn’t stop smiling while watching the babies.
Sadly, not everyone understands that many of the animals in this park would not survive in the wild. Most of them have health issues or difficult past experiences. I am truly happy that these animals are now in safe hands

Nice place to visit, especially with children. You can have direct contact with the animals and feed some of them, which is a lot of fun. The park is well maintained, and the animals have separate, well-defined areas. Another great feature is the large variety of interesting plants, especially the impressive collection of cacti and succulents. The visit may not be very long, but it is definitely worth stopping by during a stay in Tenerife.

Brilliant place for all ages. Very close interactions with the animals from feeding guinea pigs to Monkies jumping around. Very reasonable entrance fee and good way to spend a couple of hours. Well priced refreshments at the entrance. They will phone a taxi for you which arrive very quickly. Staff very helpful.

Monkey Park Tenerife is a lovely and unique place to visit. It is smaller and quieter than other parks, which makes the experience feel more personal and relaxed. The animals are well cared for, and seeing the monkeys up close is both fun and memorable.
The park is clean, easy to walk around, and great for families or anyone who loves animals. It is a calm and enjoyable way to spend a few hours in Tenerife 🐒🌴
Most families should plan one to two hours. It is a compact stop, not a full-day park.
It is different. Choose Monkey Park for a short south-coast animal stop; choose Loro Parque for a large, structured full-day attraction.
There are usually supervised feeding/contact elements, but current rules can change. Check before promising children a specific interaction.
A car or taxi is the easiest option from Los Cristianos or Costa Adeje. Public transport is less convenient for a short visit.
