4.9 (6)Costa Adeje

Cycling in Tenerife is a Costa Adeje bike-rental and tour shop for riders who care about fit, route choice and bike condition. It works well for road cycling, e-bike rides and guided climbs because the team asks for measurements, sets up the bike properly and can deliver to a hotel.
Cyclists often mention quick replies, strong bikes, route advice, hotel pickup and guides who know the island rather than just handing over a rental.

The tour started with a hotel pick up which was on time. The bikes were already in the van and we headed to our start point. Our guide for the day was Miguel. He got the bikes set up, water bottles filled and then some snacks and bananas for the pockets and off we went …. Up up up. Miguel was extremely knowledgeable and was pointing out local landmarks as we passed them. He was full of encouragement and enthusiasm, which was required as we progressed further up Teide. The route he chose allowed us to go downhill all the way back to the start point with the van. Which was amazing fun traveling at such pace. Then dropped back off at the door to the hotel to finish. I’d definitely recommend them to my friends after having such a great experience myself. Chapeau David

REAL CYCLISTS NOT JUST A HIRE LOCATION I don’t normally write reviews. I don’t often hire bikes, I travel with my own in a bike box. But I’ve just had such a positive experience with cyclingintenerife that here we go….. Great human communication and clarity during the enquiry/booking - they try to find out what you really want. Great bike and setup with choice of sizes, pedals and even multiple choice of cycling shoes in my size. The guide on our ride up to Teide was a real character (professional and knowledgeable but great fun) and was constantly chatting to the group (two of us) in a brilliant mix of Spanish, English and Italian. Great cycling with great people on great tarmac !

Mike and Enrico at Cycling in Tenerife were both fantastic to deal with. They were always very quick to respond, and extremely helpful in choosing and setting up my bike rental. The choice of bikes is excellent and very competitively priced. I'd recommend Cycling in Tenerife to everyone!

Fantastic bike rental and tour shop! The bikes are high-quality and well-maintained. The staff is incredibly friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about both the bikes and the region. The booking process was smooth and easy, and the tour routes were scenic, fun, and perfectly organized. Highly recommend for anyone looking to explore Tenerife by bike!

If you want to ride a bike in Tenerife, you definitely need a good one! Are you worried about how airlines handle your bike, or shocked by the prices they charge? Me too! That’s why CyclingTenerife is the perfect solution. You simply choose the bike that fits your preferences, send them your main measurements, and then just pick it up at the shop — or let their team deliver it directly to your hotel.
They offer a great selection of road bikes, e-bikes, and mountain bikes. Also consider joining one of their organized excursions: getting out of the busy Costa Adeje area with their van and starting your ride in quieter, scenic parts of the island is a real added value. Tenerife is quite big, and this option lets you explore many routes without the hassle of organizing everything yourself.
Just get in touch with Enrico and Michele — great service and excellent value for money!

Excellent bikes, outmatched only by the customer service
I could not rate this company more highly! The bikes were excellent - outmatched only by the enthusiasm & 10 out of 10 for customer service, especially by Enrico!
We visited in February, 2026, but from the time I booked the bikes online to the pick up from our hotel at the end of our trip, the service was faultless.
If you want to do road cycling in Tenerife - which is amazing by the way - hire your bikes from these guys.
It is better to reserve ahead if you need a specific frame size, e-bike, road bike or multi-day hire.
Ask before booking. Some rentals include basic gear, while others charge for extras.
Many cycling-focused shops can suggest routes, but confirm difficulty, climbing and road exposure for your level.
Bring ID, payment card, sun protection and shoes/clothing suitable for the bike type.
