I had a suit made by José Acosta, and honestly, it was one of the best experiences I've had with a tailor. José is incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what he does, but at the same time, he’s easy to talk to and really listens to what you're looking for.

The whole process felt personal—he explained the fabric options, gave advice without being pushy, and made sure everything fit perfectly. You can tell he puts a lot of care into his work. The end result was a bespoke suit that feels amazing to wear and looks even better. Classic, modern, and just really well done.

If you're in the Canaries and looking for something tailor-made (or even just want to treat yourself to something special), I highly recommend stopping by his workshop. Worth every cent.

Wonderful job executed by José Acosta for my custom made wedding suit. You are truly an artist. It was a perfect “fit”, couldn't be more pleased with the result.

During the first meeting we went through the fabric and colour choice, then we discussed the style would fit best for the type of cerimony and with my personality. José was very professional and thorough with every detail, from engraving mine and my wife's proposal date inside the jacket (an emotional surprise for my wife) to making sure the choice of the colour and style of any item would match perfectly.

Excellent professional treatment, as well as the finishes in his work. In my case he made my wedding suit and my husband's. In both cases, we were able to choose the types of fabrics from the high selection of materials he has available to design the suits. We were very clear about what the suits for our wedding would be like, and even so he managed to exceed the expectations we had in mind for the suit. The finishes and attention to detail in our suits are incredible. He not only managed to make us feel handsome that day, but the whole process we experienced with him up to the delivery of the suit made us feel special.
