The 16th is not the kind of place most visitors choose for a normal evening drink. It is mainly a sunset rooftop experience at Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife in Playa Paraiso: views first, cocktails second, and the five-star hotel setting around it.
Go here for one or two polished drinks, a date, a birthday toast or a dressier evening if you are staying around Playa Paraiso, Callao Salvaje or the Adeje coast. Do not treat it like a budget pub crawl stop. The official hotel page describes Atlantic views, live music, performances, signature cocktails, spirits, aperitifs and champagne, and says non-guests can visit, but access, private events and the programme can change. Whilst at the Hard Rock Hotel, this is a must and we intend on going again before the weeks over. Watching sunset from the Sixteenth floor, music, fabulous seating area and cocktails. This truly was the best ending to our first full day at the Hard Rock Hotel. Absolutely beautiful and the most stunning views. Even the pigeons were on hand to offer some light hearted and friendly entertainment 🥰

A couple recommended coming up here at sunset for a drink. No need to stay at the hardrock hotel. You can walk in and go straight to the lift to the 16th floor. We were served quickly and didn't cost the earth either. Stayed long enough to see the sunset. The view was stunning! Would definitely recommend!

The staff and amazing dance crew at this rooftop patio atop the Hard Rock Hotel’s 16th floor were wonderful! Sadly they don’t have any sort of dancing/party for guests, and we were not about to start the party. Our signature cocktails were ok, but definitely not the strongest we’ve had for the price tag. Champagne prices were astounding - it’s more affordable to have a glass of bubbles in the Swiss Alps. 🤣

We visited here last night for a drink and to watch the sunset. We got there just in time for sunset. Went up the lift to the 16th floor. Went to get a drink at the bar to be told it was table service. Fine we thought let's go get a seat. Sat down and watched the sunset. A waitress came over with some nuts and gave us the drinks menu. Then we waited and waited. Could not get any waiter or waitresses' attention. After about half an hour, we left without a drink.
