About

Sea Soul Costa Adeje is a beachfront dinner choice at the end of the promenade, with the setting doing real work: parasol tables, sea air and a sunset view that reviews mention before the food. The strongest orders are fresh squid stir-fry, garlic prawns, Serrano ham and Chateaubriand, so it is not only a seafood stop but a proper evening restaurant.

The tradeoff is pace and price. One review mentions a 30-minute wait between starter and main, and another felt it was the weakest of several Iberostar restaurants, so this is best when you have time for a slow sunset meal. Book for the view, order from the stronger seafood and grill signals, and do not treat it as a quick promenade snack.

Guest review summary

Commonly mentioned by visitors.

The sunset beachfront setting is the main reason to book ahead.

Fresh squid stir-fry, garlic prawns and Chateaubriand give the menu stronger substance than the view alone.

Staff are praised for a relaxed, unhurried dinner rhythm.

Service pace can be slow, and one stored review rates it weaker than other Iberostar dining options.

After a long walk along the ocean promenade in Costa Adeje, we felt like stopping somewhere for a meal. As it happens, right at the end of the promenade you’ll find Sea Soul — and it turned out to be a great choice. The setting is beautiful: tables under parasols, warm weather, and a relaxed seaside atmosphere. The restaurant itself is very well presented, with great attention to detail — from the plates to the overall cleanliness and organisation. After placing our order, we waited around 30 minutes for the food, which felt reasonable given the setting. The dishes were very good — not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Everything arrived hot and full of flavour. Throughout the meal, the staff kept asking if everything was okay. Maybe a little too often, but it clearly shows they genuinely care about their guests and want to make sure everyone is satisfied. Overall, a very enjoyable experience in a lovely location. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

This restaurant offered a great view of the sunset and was attached to the hotel we were staying at which was super convenient. The menu is small but they offered a variety of dishes. The fresh squid stir fry was amazing! We ordered starters and other dishes but this dish by far was the best!

We had multiple starters including garlic prawns and Serrano Ham with three of us opting for a whole Chateaubriand. The steak was very high quality and cooked perfectly- the views are delightful and the desserts were also excellent. It’s not a cheap restaurant but you get what you pay for - for what’s its worth I absolutely loved it! Please like this review if it helps you and if you follow me, I will follow you back.

Pleasant but out of all the restaurants offerings of Iberostar, this was the weakest.
