Disappointing experience – many service and food errors
While the host at the door was very kind and welcoming, the rest of the experience was a series of mistakes. We encountered several service errors: wrong drinks were brought, cutlery was forgotten, and we even received the wrong bill.
The food also left much to be desired:
• Starters: The bruschetta was tasteless and served on regular toast rather than baguette.
The "Insalata piccola" was very strange—just a large tomato cut in half with random vegetables thrown together and no dressing at all.
• Mains: The lasagna was okay and filling, but nothing special. I ordered the Piccata, which should be meat with tomato sauce, but I was served meat with pesto spaghetti instead. They didn't go together at all.
• Dessert: The tiramisu was a major letdown. It felt like it lacked mascarpone; the inner layers seemed to be made of chocolate whipped cream. It tasted more like a chocolate cake than an authentic tiramisu.
Lastly, a bottle of water costs €2.70, which is significantly more expensive than the usual €1.30–€2.00 in this area.
Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this place.
