About

Restaurante Rincon del Pescador is a small seafood restaurant tucked into the streets of San Andres, away from the main tourist strip. Reviews make the fish of the day the clearest reason to go, with one visitor calling it the best fish they had in Tenerife. Cold vegetable soup with crispy bacon, octopus and cheese with honey and corn also get specific mentions.

Most visits describe friendly service, fair prices and generous portions, even when the room is full. The useful caveat is that feedback is not perfectly uniform: one visitor found the seafood rubbery, the sangria bottled rather than homemade, and portions small for the price. That stands apart from the broader pattern, but it is worth keeping in mind.

The lunch we had at this small restaurant exceeded our expectations: an excellent cold vegetable soup with a bit of crispy bacon, octopus, and cheese with honey and corn, all culminating in two very good desserts.

Delicious food, super friendly service and very fair prices.

We enjoyed our stay a lot, hidden from the tourist restaurants and evey dish served was great, tastes very good and was plenty.

The fish of the day was the best fish I had in Tenerife.

Greart little resutarant with lovely staff. Don't miss this sweet little place hidden in the streets of San Andrès

We went for dinner and left still hungry… We often dine in many different restaurants, from small local gems to those with Michelin recommendations and even Michelin stars. Honestly, I have no idea where all the good reviews are coming from. The food was mediocre – the seafood was rubbery, and the sangria wasn’t homemade but simply poured from a bottle. For such small portions, the prices were far too high. Nicely presented, and that’s about it. The food was mediocre, portions small and overpriced. Definitely not worth the hype.
