La Guapa

We were there on New Year's Eve, 25/26, and it was the best choice. The band that played, Nuria and the wonderful Cuban drummer, were exceptional. So much energy, so much joy, so much passion! An incredible night. Singing and dancing for five hours with only short breaks is something only professionals can do. Bravo to the team and congratulations to the band!

If there were more stars to give, I would gladly give them all! Bodega Lela La Guapa is an extraordinary place right in the heart of Puerto de la Cruz. It’s not just a bodega; it’s an experience that brings together history, music, culture, and incredible food in a way that feels truly unique.

The location is perfect – central yet warm and inviting, with prices that make it accessible to everyone. Despite being situated in such a prime spot, it offers amazing value. Whether you stop by for a quick drink or stay the night to enjoy the live music, you’ll leave feeling like you’ve had an experience worth far more than you paid for.

The decor is breathtaking. The walls are filled with fascinating antiques that make it feel like you’ve entered a living museum. Everywhere you look, there’s something to admire, a perfect combination of history and charm that fits beautifully with the vibrant energy of the bodega.

I don't usually leave reviews but this place earned it within the first 10 minutes of my first stay. Lovely place, traditional music and exceptional drinks. I would highly suggest you get yourself a sangria as its the best one I've had in Tenerife. The staff is super and the atmosphere is always interesting.
