About

Cielo y Mar is a Puerto de Santiago restaurant for a relaxed dinner with a sunset terrace rather than a quick inland meal. Reviews point most clearly to tiger prawn paella, fish soup, aubergines with cheese and honey, generous portions and staff who handle gluten-free or coeliac requests carefully.

The terrace is part of the reason to come, especially around sunset, and the restaurant works well for families who want a fuller sit-down meal. Feedback is not perfect on every order: one visitor found steak cooked rarer than requested, and another drink arrived differently than expected. Stick to the Spanish and Canarian dishes that reviews praise most, and confirm details if ordering outside that lane.

Wow – we absolutely loved this place!

We came here for a family dinner, and the service was excellent — very friendly and attentive throughout the evening.

For starters, we had the house salad, calamari, and garlic prawns. The salad was beautifully presented, nicely garnished, and very generous in size. The calamari was also delicious — perfectly cooked and full of flavor.

The paella with tiger prawns was simply fabulous!

The only small disappointment was the espresso we ordered, which turned out more like a cappuccino — served in a large glass with far too much milk.

To finish off, we were treated to a complimentary Limoncello, which was a lovely touch. Overall, we left very happy and would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Finally a restaurant here that has the authentic feel, service and food that you expect. The staff was very friendly and got us a table very quickly although it was very busy. The food.... just amazing. My husband had the fish soup for starter, one of the best he ever had and for me the Aubergines with cheese and honey which was such a delicious combination. Big portions though, so mind that if you are not a big eater.

As main the mussels in wine which was also amazing and for me the grilled salmon, even when very well done (because of my pregnancy) it was still very delicious. The portions are very generous which is really nice. We didn't have dessert be ause we were so full, but it looked delicious.

We were very happy to find this place, although getting there was a bit of a struggle (to far walk for me and you have to be lucky for parking) i recommend taking a taxi.

Thankyou for the lovely service and delicious food!

The food was delicious. The restaurant offers a stunning view to the ocean, which makes the experience even more special. The staff were polite, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. A perfect spot for a memorable meal.

Absolutely the BEST food we had in Tenerife. Delicious paella and a stunning seafood platter. The waitress was so friendly and really helpful with my husband being coeliac. The Croquettas were gluten free and so light and fluffy. We sat outside on the sun terrace and watched the sun going down on our last night in Tenerife and it was perfect. Took the left over paella home and ate it on the plane on the way home - it made other passengers a bit jealous!

The drinks were very nice and the presentation of the dish looked good. The croquettes and the fried cheese were also very tasty. However, I ordered the beef tenderloin medium and it was served much closer to rare.

Additionally, the meat was surprisingly chewy, which is unusual for tenderloin and made the dish rather disappointing.
