Playa de Torviscas

Undoubtedly, this beach stands out as one of the most picturesque destinations, renowned for its breathtaking sunsets. The setting sun provides an exceptional backdrop for capturing stunning family photographs, with the sea’s vibrant hues serving as a picturesque backdrop.

Lots of shops and restaurants. Lots to do either on land or sea, go on the boats or play on the inflatables. Rent motorbikes or jetskis, beach is nice as sand is lighter in colour.

A beautiful, underrated beach. Playa de Torviscas is a decent sized beach, despite the large size it is often very busy; especially around 12-3pm. It is very difficult to find a sun bed around these times so if you would like them, I recommend coming as early as possible.

The sand on the beach is grey/black. There is a lot of bars/restaurants/shops around the beach. Street vendors are often found here, and they are very pushy and sometimes won't leave you alone.

The waves are usually pretty calm, depending on the wind levels. The first day we came it was impossible to swim because the wind was so prominent. But when there is less wind the water is pretty calm

There are also bathrooms here, although they really aren't the best. The few times I went i found that there was no toilet paper, or it was dirty and they aren't very aesthetically pleasing visually if that matters to one.

Water

Playa de Torviscas is bustling with people both day and night, stretching along the coastline. It's lined with various cafes and restaurants offering a wide range of cuisines. The beach itself is vast, with fine, soft grey sand. We visited different spots during the day and night, and it felt particularly lively at night with live music – a great place to while away the hours.

A beautiful beach with dark sand. However, the price for sun loungers is quite high (€24 for two). The day before, we visited a nearby beach where one sun lounger cost only €4.
