Parking Siam Mall

Hard to find a free parking place. Had to drive around for 15-20 minutes

This review is about the underground parking, with its easy access and convenient streets, offering plenty of spaces, very similar to any other shopping center. On rainy days (it rains in the Canary Islands too) it's very slippery for rubber-soled shoes.

Well, mainly the parking seems fine to me, all things considered, that they charge you because there were people who parked and went to Siam Park. But this thing where I was 30 minutes over and they charge you for the 2 hours that were supposedly "courtesy" seems like a real joke to me. I hope they correct this.

I think it's good that they've implemented paid parking to prevent people who don't visit the shopping center from taking advantage of it for free (Siam Park, Playa de las Américas, etc.). What I don't think is right is that they offer three free hours, and as happened to me this past Sunday (when I took advantage of the extra time to stay and eat there), they didn't charge me for two of the five hours I was at the center, but rather for all five hours. So, if I leave after three hours, it's free, but if I stay and spend more, they charge me the full parking fee. That doesn't make sense to me. I'll think twice about staying longer, and if this happens to most people, the shopping center will lose a lot of money.

Unbearable. It was a Monday in September, 1:30 pm, and it was impossible to park after 20 laps in both the upper outdoor and indoor parking lots. People were leaving their cars in areas not designated for parking out of desperation, and there were traffic jams that could leave you stuck for several minutes. I won't be back. It's clearly overwhelmed at certain times of the year, and I suspect it's because of the proximity to the water park.
